Reba Stuart Higdon, 92, of Brandon, passed away on December 28, 2017 at Brandon Court. Visitation will be Saturday December 30, 2017 at Natchez Trace Funeral Home in Madison, MS from 10:00am until 11:00am with a graveside service in Natchez Trace Memorial Park Cemetery to follow at 11:00am.

Mrs. Higdon was born on July 14, 1925 in Philadelphia, MS to her late parents, Clyde and Hettie Bell Hall Stokes. She graduated high school from Central High School in Jackson, MS. She married Barlow Higdon in 1989 and retired that year from the Mississippi State Tax Commission. She was very active in her church, Ridgeland United Methodist Church

Reba is survived by her daughters, Susan Stuart Arthur and her husband Jimmy and Cindy Stuart Little; son, Thomas Stuart and his wife Beverly; sister, Mary Jo Antee; 10 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Samuel F. Stuart; sisters, Dorthy Fortenberry, Mozelle Kirk, and Kathleen Ganzerla and a brother, Jimmy Stokes.
