When I was 10 years old our family moved into Madison and we lived next door to Brother and Janie. Ms Janie, as I called her back then, would give me a ride to school with Joellen and Janie Lyn. But, the best thing about the time were the warm donuts from the oven that she would give each morning !!!
As I grew older, moved away, married, and had children of my own, we attempted to see Brother and Janie when we would come back and visit family. It was very special to observe my adult children go with us and visit with them. I don't know who enjoyed the visit more, Brother and Janie or my children. Their were stories, talks of family and loads of laughter!
