Margie and Mike lived next door to me for 5 years in Frisco, Texas from 2016-2021. I couldn’t have asked for better neighbors. Margie, Kelly (my neighbor on the other side of me) and I spent most days together. We met for coffee in our robes, went to lunch a couple times a week, and socialized in the evenings on my patio. Mike joined us sometimes. Mike also helped me with many house problems along with bringing my garbage cans back to my garage every week. Margie would bring over many great appetizers, and she also beautifully decorated delicious cakes for many birthdays. All my friends and family who met Margie always stated that she was the sweetest person they knew.
I had the pleasure of meeting her wonderful family and knew that they were great people due to Margie and Mike rearing them. God received a special angel on April 3rd. I have the most precious memories of those special years.
Love, Gloria

My Dear Friend Margie,
I’m writing this to say what an honor it was to know you and call you my friend. We shared many memories together, traveling and shopping and hanging out in Glorias backyard enjoying each others company…you and Gloria and Kelly. Also, all the amazing, delicious birthday cakes you made for me and Lexi. I will cherish every memory, every vacation we took and the time we spent together. You and Mike are so special to me.
I miss you dearly but I’m grateful to have known you.
Love,
Sonia

Tom and I will always remember Margie as one of the warmest, loveliest people we've met. Tom and Smitty worked together over the years and some of our fondest memories were of CISCA events, where Margie made everyone feel like a best friend. Her pride in her family was evident in the stories she shared. A great lady...Heaven just got another angel.

Our hearts are broken! Margie was a true southern "lady" in every since of the word. She was our friend and one of the best people we have ever known. Graceful, refined, gentle, kind, thoughtful and compassionate is a perfect description. To everyone that Margie loved, she felt an unwavering, deep connection, where their happiness became her priority and she cherished every moment spent with them, finding joy in their presence and support in their struggles. We will miss her. Much love and prayers to Smitty, Ronnie, Gunner and the rest of her family. Sincerely, Gary and Tammy Starkey
