Margie Newcomb Smith, age 81, passed away peacefully Thursday April 3, 2025 at her home in Madison, MS. A celebration of her life will be held at 10:30am on Saturday, April 12 at Pine Lake Church in Madison, MS. Margie was born March 16, 1944 to the late Mason and Lillie May Newcomb of Brookhaven, MS. She was a graduate of Loyd Star High School and Copiah-Lincoln Junior College. Margie was a member of Pine Lake Church in Madison. Her family were her passion and delight. She loved being with her sisters and her husband of over 50 years, Mike Smith. Margie was preceded in death by sister Betty Mae Newcomb Moss. She is survived by her husband Mike, two sons Ronnie (Terry) and Gunner (Lacie), sisters Annie Pearl Wingo, Willie Katherine Coleman and Etta Joe Newell, grandchildren Carter Smith, Sterling Smith, Lillie Kate Smith and Hadley Smith.
