Joelyne Thames May Canton   Joelyne Thames May, age 99, passed away on April 27, 2025 in Canton, Mississippi. Joelyne was born and raised in Simpson County. She loved to spend time with her family during the holidays, cook, gardening, she loved to beautify her yard, and loved to spend time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.   Joelyne is survived by her Daughter, Patricia Ann Yarbrough of Brandon, MS; Two Sisters, Linda Grice Eddy, Sherry McCrainey; Grandson, David Peacock; Two great grandchildren, Charles Peacock, Kaylin Peacock; Four Great Great Grandchildren, Peyton Peacock, Trace Peacock, Brody Walker Noel, Ava Grace Noel.   Visitation will be Friday May 2, 2025 at Natchez Trace Funeral Home in Madison, MS from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm. A funeral service celebrating her life will be at 12:00 pm in the chapel at Natchez Trace Funeral Home with the interment to follow in Natchez Trace Memorial Park Cemetery.
