My heart shattered last week when I got the phone call about MeMe. I thought back to the Thanksgiving holiday we spent in TN and MeMe so graciously invited Tracy and I along with our twins to dinner and the Dixie Stampede show. Carleigh Reece was infatuated with sweet MeMe while Gunny had his eyes on Aunt Beth. Carleigh Reece danced and jumped and clapped all the while MeMe patiently let her. When I look at the pictures others have shared I see that MeMe will live on in those she leaves behind. Beth and Jenny both look so much like their beautiful Mama. Over the years I’ve heard so many stories about MeMe and what an amazing mother and mother in law she was. She was greatly respected and appreciated and not an opportunity was missed by Beth or Sherri to share MeMe with the rest of us who came to know and love her. While there are some hearts here on Earth broken and hurting, we know that Heaven was rejoicing when this beautiful soul entered those pearly gates. Our prayers are with the family who loved her so deeply. Meme truly was a special woman who loved unconditionally and lived life to the fullest.

Growing up as teenagers at the Fish Household led to my baby brother marrying Jenny, Lois was always the sweetest person and so talented, she was almost like a second mom, she never had a mean thing to say about anyone and she was always someone you could talk to easily, she put up with a lot and worked tirelessly to provide for her children after she lost her husband. Lois will be greatly missed

the sweetest lady that truly loved her family. Just like her mother before her. Lots of precious memories with her and Mama Guffee. That whole family has passed on and I sincerely pray they are all together for this joyful journey. As Mandy said, she’s sure Andee planned a big celebration and welcomed Lois with open arms.
