Lois Jade McGuffee Fish, 79, of Madison, passed away at her home on May 13, 2025. Lois was born on December 8, 1945, to Albert and Dorothy Allen McGuffee and was a native of Utica, MS. She was a member of Christ Covenant Presbyterian Church and retired from the United States Postal Service. Lois loved her family and grandchildren dearly. She was blessed with artistic talent and enjoyed crafts, painting, playing the piano, and especially loved “picking and grinning” on her banjo. Lois is survived by her children, Jenny Tiblier (Todd), Beth Porter (Sherri), and Paul Fish (Lisa); grandchildren, Joey Fish, Paul Fish, Blake Fish, Ashton Tiblier, Dylan Tiblier, and Kristian Bailey (Jake); and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Odell Fish, father, Albert McGuffee; mother, Dorothy Allen McGuffee; and brothers, Buddy McGuffee, Joe McGuffee, Albert McGuffee Jr., BaBa McGuffee, and Paul Lee McGuffee. Visitation will be held at Natchez Trace Funeral Home in Madison on Monday, May 19, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. with a graveside service to follow at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be in Utica Christian Church Cemetery. To honor Mrs. Lois, the family welcomes the attendees to wear something in her favorite color—purple—to the service.
