Phong Thanh Ho, 54, of Richland, passed away on May 26, 2025, at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, MS. Phong was born on September 28, 1970, in Vietnam to Kiem Ho and Tuong Phan. He learned woodworking as a trade and went on to work as a blackjack dealer before eventually finding his passion as a sushi chef. He is survived by his loving wife, Linh Truong; his sons, Kenny Ho, Nicholas Ho, and Bao Ho; mother, Tuong Phan; step-father, Minh Tran; sisters, Hong Nguyen, Chau Lin, and Tuyen Nguyen; and a host of grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Kiem Ho. A memorial gathering will be held on Sunday, June 1, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Natchez Trace Funeral Home in Madison, MS.
