Obituary of Ann Marie Love Farley
Please share a memory of Ann Marie to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Ann Marie passed away peacefully on June 11, 2025, with her husband Josh at her side. Ann Marie and Josh shared twenty-six years of marriage and three children, Taylor Conley, Andrew David, and Katherine “Kate” Grace.
Ann Marie was highly intelligent, quick-witted, and strong-willed. She possessed a wicked sense of humor that people gravitated towards. She used her unique takes on life to help others find joy and laughter during difficult times.
She was fiercely loyal to her friends and family. However, her heart belonged to her children, and they were always her top priority. She would go to any lengths to protect them and secure their happiness. Even as she was adversely affected by the progression of her cancer, her commitment to her children never waned.
Ann Marie was born on July 18, 1975, in Jackson, Mississippi. She attended Hillcrest Christian School for 13 years and graduated in 1993. She earned her Associate’s Degree in Communications from Hinds Community College in 1995, and her Bachelor of Arts in Communications at the University of Southern Mississippi in 1998. Ann Marie built a career in communications and higher education, holding positions at Montgomery College in Texas and the University of Mississippi Medical Center. At the time of her passing, she was employed at Hinds Community College’s Nursing Allied Health Center, where she had been a valued team member since 2016.
She married the love of her life, Joshua Taylor Farley in 1999, and they subsequently lived in the Houston, Texas area for over six years before returning home to Jackson in 2005.
She was preceded in death by her father, David Leo Love, Jr., and her grandparents. She is survived by her husband, mother Marie Bloodworth Love, brother David Lee Love, father-in-law Dr. Jerry Farley and mother-in-law Sue Farley, and her three children.
We hope she arrived in Heaven to the smell of Cinnabon’s and was greeted with a loving hug from her Father. It is further hoped they were able to have a lengthy and pleasant conversation that did not devolve into an argument.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a donation be made to the American Cancer Society.
