Terry Scott Helton Brandon Terry Scott Helton, age 63, passed away on June 27, 2025, in Jackson, Mississippi. He was born on July 10, 1961, to Clyde Helton and Nancy Helton in Cedar Bluff, Virginia. Terry was a proud father to three children Samantha, Hunter, and Anderson. In his last two years, he witnessed his three children marry the loves of their life. He was overjoyed by the lives they were building and the families they were starting. Terry was a loving and loyal friend to many. He was a humble man who had a way of putting everyone around him at ease. He had a heart of gold and was the first to help anyone who called. Terry never met a stranger, always held the door for others, and had a joke or story for anyone who would listen. Terry knew his Heavenly Father, the power of forgiveness, and his story is one of redemption. In his quiet way, he showed what it meant to be human and the importance of kindness and understanding. Terry loved to tinker in the garage, go deer hunting with family and friends, cheer on the New Orleans Saints, and share a plate of royal red shrimp from Sal and Phil's. His joy in these moments will forever be remembered. Terry is survived by Daughter, Samantha Helton (Michael) Abboud of Washington, DC; Two Sons, Hunter Ryan (Victoria) Helton of Austin, TX, Anderson Edward (Chandler) Helton of Washington, DC; Sister, Kim (Joey) Ferrell of Apex, NC; Two Brothers, Bobby Keith (Tonya) Helton of Burlington, NC, Tim (Roseanne) Helton of Cedar Bluff, VA. He is preceded in death by his parents Clyde and Nancy Helton of Cedar Bluff, VA. Visitation will be Thursday, July 3, 2025, at Natchez Trace Funeral Home in Madison, MS, from 10:00 am until 11:00 am. A memorial service celebrating his life will be at 11:00 am in the Chapel at Natchez Trace Funeral Home.
