Patricia Ann Griffith, age 79, passed away on August 2nd, 2025 in Madison, Mississippi. She was born on August 24th, 1945 to Alfred McClendon and Frances Edrue Mills McClendon in Jackson, Mississippi. Patricia (known to her friends and family as Patsy), attended and graduated Provine High School in 1963. She attended Hinds Junior College (now known as Hinds Community College), and graduated in 1965. Patsy had a varied career, including several years at the Mississippi Employment Security Commission, where she met her late husband Robert Daniel Griffith (known to his friends and family as Danny). They married on February 2nd, 1972 and remained married until he passed away October 20th, 2014. Patsy is survived by her daughter, Patricia Danielle Calero and her son-in-law Dennis Calero, and one grandchild, Paloma Calero, all of New York. Visitation will be Friday August 8, 2025 at Natchez Trace Funeral Home in Madison from 10:00 am until 11:00 am. A funeral service celebrating her life will be at 11:00 am at Natchez Trace Funeral Home Chapel and the interment will follow in Cedarlawn Cemetery in Jackson, MS. Patsy was a devoted member of Briarwood Presbyterian Church, where she found great joy in the community fellowship, as well as in her love of Elvis Presley.
