I got to know Brian through work a few years back by him selling me a few machines. What a prince of a man! Whenever his phone number popped up on my phone I always smiled. We got to be friends and shared interests in fishing, sports, and our families.
When he got sick he showed only courage. He kept focused on living. I never heard a word of despair. One of our last conversations this September he was talking about watching pro football games from his hospital bed and he was fired up about it!
I never was able to meet the man. I was hoping he would come to Florida someday for the auctions and we could go fishing. With his attitude and heart it seemed impossible he couldn't beat the cancer and still make the trip. God above has his own design for all of us.

My dad and Mr. Ralph started A&B Equipment together in the late 80’s I believe so the Burns family and the Adams family spent a good bit of time together whether it being at the dirt track on a Saturday night or up river on a sand bar for a weekend. I remember Brian and Glenn having John boats up river a few times and some of their friends, them and I would get in the John boats and play hide and seek back in the lily pads behind the sandbar just before dark. It was a very fun time for sure. Anytime Brian was around he added a great vibe to any situation or gathering. With his signature smile and well known laugh he lit up every room he walked into and if you ever met him just once you remembered him. He was as good as they come and he will be missed dearly. Fly high brother and I’ll see you again one day!! Love ya man!!
