Michael Todd McBride, 66, of Ridgeland, passed away on November 21, 2025 at Baptist Medical Center in Jackson, MS after an extended illness Michael was born on March 26, 1959, in Lexington, MS to Otha and Lurline Tyson McBride and was one of eleven children. Michael enlisted in the Army National Guard and was employed by Yates Services, where he worked at Nissan in maintenance for 21 years. He enjoyed flying his remote control airplanes in his free time, and spending time with his granddaughters. Michael is survived by his daughter, April Martin of Ridgeland; sisters, Sarah Purvis and Joyce Vanhenderson; brothers, Mose McBride, Gifford McBride, Don McBride, and Pat McBride; grandchildren, Rebeckah Mckenzi Scott, Elizabeth Lorelai Scott, and Rachel Natalya Carnahan and great grandchildren, Amir Scott and Cairo Clairbush. He was preceded in death by his son, Michael S. McBride; father, Otha McBride, mother, Lurline Tyson McBride; sisters, Mary McBride Ables and Betty Faye Carroll, and brothers, Larry McBride and Leo McBride. Services will be private.
