Mrs. Linda Kay King, age 80 of Madison, MS, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 28, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer. She died peacefully at home. Linda was born in Cave City, Arkansas on September 17, 1945. She was preceded in death by husband John and grandchild Chase Harrison. An avid golfer, Linda was a member of Whisper Lake Country Club in Madison. Linda is survived by her daughter Andrea Harrison (David) of Huntsville, AL, and grandchild Lauren Funk ( Mitch) and great grandson Collier Funk of Atlanta; Sister Jeannie Swenson of Millington, TN. ; and brother Sonny Milligan of Carlisle, Arkansas. Linda was dedicated to her family, and friends. Everyone remembers Linda as a passionate gardener, reader, and for her love for the game of golf. Linda was a legendary hairstylist for many years in the Memphis and Birmingham areas before moving to Mississippi. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider memorial contributions to the Chapel of the Cross in Madison, MS.
