William Reigh (Bill) Wilson, 80 of Brandon, MS was called home to be with the Lord on August 16, 2018 in Kosciusko, MS at the Martha Jo Leslie State Veterans Home. A visitation honoring Bill will take place Monday, August 20, 2018 from 5-7 p.m. at the Natchez Trace Funeral Home in Madison, MS. A Celebration of Life Service with Jeff Holland officiating will be Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with a visitation being held an hour prior to the service.  Graveside will follow in the Natchez Trace Memorial Park Cemetery in Madison, MS.

 

Bill was born August 29, 1937 in Quinton, Oklahoma to late Mr. Travis Wilson and Mrs. Lorene Bryant Wilson. At a young age, Bill and his family moved to Kilgore, TX where he grew up, and went to school at Kilgore High School where he graduated. He went on to attend Kilgore Junior College for a few years until joining the United States Army. Bill went on the receive a bachelor's degree from the University of Southern Mississippi. Bill began his longtime career of graphic design as an advertising artist for many years. He was an artist who could make his drawings and paintings come to life with his unique skill set. In his spare time, he loved to fish with his family and friends. His later years Bill enjoyed spending time with his wife, kids and grandchildren. Most of all Bill was a devoted husband of forty-two years to his beloved late wife Randa Williams Wilson. She fought a hard battle with cancer for over three years, but Bill never left her side. 

 

Bill is preceded in passing by his loving wife Randa Williams Wilson., his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wilson and one brother-in-law, Buddy Humphrey.

 

He is survived by his daughters, Paula Wilson Travis (Marty) of Brandon, MS.,  Lorie Wilson Busby (David) of Morton, MS and his son Matthew Reigh Wilson (Nikki) of Florence, MS.,  one sister Jean Humphrey of Daingerfield, TX., one brother, Travis Wilson and his wife Pam of Baton Rouge, LA., six grandchildren., Hayden Wilson, Warren Jackson, Palmer Jackson, Camryn Busby, Gabe Wilson, Dalton Busby and several nephews and nieces. 

 

The family would like to send a special thank you to the nurses and staff at the Martha Jo Leslie  State Veterans Home in Kosciusko, MS. For their kind and comforting touch they showed their father, Bill. 

 

Pallbearers will be Hayden Wilson, Warren Jackson, Gabe Wilson, Dalton Busby, Grant Williams and Todd Williams. Along with honorary pallbearers Palmer Jackson, Rob Williams, Noell Bass and Jeremy Bass. 

 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Bill’s favorite organizations: the American Cancer Society or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
