Phuong Thanh To, age 40, passed away on December 4, 2020 in Jackson, Mississippi. He was born on June 7,1980 to Timmy To and Thuong To in Songkhla,Thailand refugee camp. He was a resident of Biloxi, MS and moved to the Jackson metro area after Hurricane Katrina where he became a loved nail technician by many because of his charm and impeccable memory in remembering every client’s name and story. Phuong was known by his close friends and family as Froggy. He was a church member of Victory Baptist Church in Madison. He was a beloved son, husband, father, brother, and uncle. His favorite hobby was learning to play the guitar to his favorite Christian songs and performing in church on Sundays, memorizing lines to his favorite movies such as “Coming to America”, and showing up for every one of his family members as needed. His life ended here on earth but has only actually begun eternally in Heaven with our Father. Phuong is survived by his parents: Mother and Father Thuong Bich To and Timmy Phuc To; Wife, Ngan Kim To of Madison, MS; Daughter, Christina-Ngoc Phuong To; Sister, Emma Phuong Bich To; Two Brothers, Jake Phong Thanh To, Phu Thanh To; Nephew, Joseph Jake An-Dien To and Justus Ky-An To; Niece, Eliana Dang, Liliana Pham, and Laila Pham; Sister and brother In-laws Jessica Phuong To, Nina Pham, and Nhan “Tango” Dang. Visitation will be Wednesday December 9, 2020 at Natchez Trace Funeral Home in Madison, Mississippi from 10:00 am until 11:45 am followed by a graveside service at Natchez Trace Memorial Park Cemetery. Should friends desire, contributions may be sent to his wife Ngan To for their daughter's, Christina Ngoc To, future college fund account.
