Narendra Manmohandas Sanjanwala passed away peacefully at 11:08 p.m. on December 7, 2020 at the age of 84. Narendra was born on May 7, 1936 in Umbergaon, India, to Manubhai and Sushila Sanjanwala. In the 1950's, he met the love of his life, Prabha, while still in high school, and the two would pass secret love notes to each other through friends before finally getting their family's permission to marry on February 18, 1960. They had two children, Umesh and Arpana, and have celebrated 61 years of blissful marriage together. After 40 years working as a civil engineer, he retired and spent time traveling the world with his wife and working in their garden together. His children and grandchildren remember him for his first-rate memory, punctuality for tea time, soft-spot for animals, and his wonderful dedication to his wife and family. He is survived by Prabha, his two children, Umesh (Renu) and Arpana (Dinis), four grandchildren, Sital Sigh, Cheshil Dixit, Sonum May, and Harshin Sanjanwala, and three great-grandchildren, Larkin Sigh, Orion Dixit, and Aiden Sigh. He is also survived by his brother Dr. Satish Sanjanwala (Chandrika), and two sisters Mrs. Ajita Chauhan (Madhusudan), and Mrs. Vasanti Dalal (Dinesh). In lieu of flowers, memorials and donations can be made to the following; Blair E. Batson Children's Hospital, St. Jude Children's Hospital, The Good Samaritan, The Salvation Army, and The Stew Pot. Due to COVID pandemic, funeral home visitation and service are restricted to immediate family members only. Thank you for your understanding.
