During the summer of 1948, two of Jeanette's brothers and one of my lst cousins threw me into a westeria bush as I was trying to follow them - I was about 4 1/2. Jeanette got me out of the vines. I remembered her as much older, but she must have been about 8. That was when we both lived in Clinton, LA.
I grew up in Ackerman and Jeanette was a few years older than me, but I admired her from afar! I always thought she was so beautiful. Her brothers, Billie & Jack got a lot of attention, but she held her own!
Praying for each of you who loved her and had an opportunity to spend your lives together. May God hold you closely and comfort you with His love and faithfulness.
