Dad joining us at an Easter sunrise service, in Peoria after Aunt Marilyn’s funeral and at Christmas at David’s a few years back. He was always up for a family gathering!

You had to say Rolo had style! I took this photo in August 2020 headed into the office. Of course on entering the building he would let everyone know it was “A beautiful day in Pearl!”( If it was storming then that was liquid sunshine) . I’ll always remember the funny stories, his laughter, optimism and the pink pants! Rolo loved life, family, co-workers, Cardinals, Yankees , his country , singing, good and bad food. I know he loved his Lord and would talk about his faith . I was blessed to have known Rolo for about 30 years and he truly brought so much joy and happiness to all those around him.
I can imagine what that first “it’s a beautiful day in heaven “ was like coming from that deep baritone voice. Rest In Peace Rolo, you’ll be missed here but till we meet again, Go Cubs and Red Socks!
