I am the sister of Debra's birth mother and through Debra's half sister found out about Debra's death. I tried so many times to find her during my life. I'm both sadded and happy of her passing but so glad that she had a wonderful life l loved her so much. I was 3 years older when her dad took her and Tony away. I can't stop crying.

It was my privilege and pleasure to work with Deb for the past several years. While we may not have actually been the “Best Team Ever” . . . Deb treated us like we were and I loved working for her and with her. Her support and friendship has been invaluable to me. My heartfelt condolences to all of Deb’s friends and family.

Deb was a colleague, a mentor, my employee, a fellow widower and moreover a friend. Deb was an amazing person and leader. There are so many memories l have and I'll never forget. From Double D to Little Bo Deb...you shared a piece of yourself and opened up to us...forever my friend I hope you and Gene are hunting at the camp or the cabin in the sky.

Debbie was my friend since we were 14 years old. My mother took Debbie under her wings. Mom sewed her clothes, gave her motherly advise because at the time it was just Debbie; Tony her brother; and her dad. Mother took us to church and made sure we knew about Jesus. Mother sewed a Raggy Ann and Andy dolls that Debbie would set out at Christmas. I have known Debbie over 50 years. We didn't get to see each other often, but when we talked it was always as if we had just seen each other. I loved her like the sister I never had. I will miss her.

Deb was such an amazing friend and teacher. I had the pleasure of working with her from 1991 to 1995. She taught me so much and that knowledge has moved my career forward so many times. We have stayed in touch since we left that first company. I am so glad that I was able to talk with her on the day she retired. I will always be indebted to her for her friendship and loyalty through the last 30 years. I will never forget her. She is truly one of those unforgettable people that you are lucky enough to meet and that will always have a place in your heart! Rest well my friend! I love you... Cyndi Torres

Deb was a loyal and compassionate friend that I respected and loved with all my heart. She helped me through many hard times and was a great friend and confidant. Deb was a mentor and a very strong and successful woman and she will be forever missed by my entire family.
