Helen Lundy Barber was born on January 1, 1945 to Covert and Pauline (Talbert) Lundy in Union, MS. Helen died on April 24, 2021 at her home in Madison at the age of 76. Helen is survived by her daughter, Wendy B. Steed (Kerry) of Madison, MS; Son, Marty Barber (Lynn) of Deland, FL; grandchildren, Ashley Sottilare, Kara Barber and Benjamin Steed, great grandchild, Robin Sottilare; brothers, Jerry Lundy and C.A. Lundy and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Clifford "Bob" Barber, Father, Covert Andrew Lundy, Mother, Pauline Talbert Lundy and siblings, Ester Mae Martin, Bernice Dean and Thelma Harrison. Visitation will be held at Natchez Trace Funeral Home on Wednesday April 28, 2021 at Natchez Trace Funeral Home in Madison from 5:00pm until 7:00pm. A funeral service to celebrate her life will be conducted in Thursday in the funeral home chapel at 11:00am with visitation one hour prior. Interment will follow in the Natchez Trace Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorials in her name may be made to The Gideons or American Heart Association.
