Martha Faye Minninger, 92, of Madison, passed away on September 26, 2021 at her home surrounded by family. Mrs. Minninger was born on December 7, 1928 to Walter Roy Hart and Marietta Culley Hart in Madison, MS. After graduating from M-R High School, she married Leo Peter Minninger in 1953. Together they raised their family on the home farm. Martha was an expert seamstress and gardener. She was an excellent cook, wonderful mother and a great friend. She was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Gluckstadt. Martha is survived by children, Mary Etta Robinson (Denson), Lou Ann Moore, Johnny Minninger (Michele) and Mike Minninger (Vicki); grandchildren, Chris Robinson, Olivia Strain (Chandler), Adam Minninger (Stephanie), Molly Minninger, Lucas Maloney, Patrick Moore (Angie), Justin Moore (Morgan), and Dylan Dyer; 6 great Grandchildren, and sister, Maggie Hart. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Leo Peter Minninger, and siblings, Elizabeth Jorgensen, Ellanor Ellington, Catherine Williams and Walter Ray Hart and son-in-law, Cary Moore. Visitation will be Wednesday September 29, 2021 at St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery from 10:00 am until 11:00 am with a graveside service to follow at 11:00 am. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
