Debra Francine Viverette, 69, of Ridgeland, passed away on October 12, 2021 at Baptist Medical Center in Jackson, MS. Francine was born in Virginia on September 16, 1952 to her late parents, James Garland Brown and Mildred Jones Brown. She met her husband to be, Kent Viverette in 1968. Kent still remembers hearing her footsteps coming down the school hall and when she entered the classroom, he knew he had just meet his future wife. In 1972 they married. Francine not only loved Kent but also loved her mother-in-law. Francine was a big fan of Elvis Presley and loved his music. She was a talented artist who enjoyed crochet and needle work. Her work was so detailed that you could display her needle work on either side. She loved drawing, lady bugs, butterflies and whimsical cats in her art class. She was also known in the community from her employment at McAlister's and providing childcare. Francine is survived by her loving spouse of 49 years, Kent Viverette, sisters, Elizabeth Stoltzfus (Bill) and Julene Sullivan (Randy); nieces, Brandi Ackermann and Hailey Morgan Sullivan, and nephew, James Garland Brown Stoltzfus (Catie). Visitation will be held Thursday, October 14, 2021, 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm at Natchez Trace Funeral Home, Madison, MS. The funeral service will be held on Friday, October 15, 2021, 11:00 am in the funeral home chapel. The family will again receive friends one hour prior to the service. Internment will follow at 2:00 pm in the Rock Branch Baptist Church Cemetery in Union, MS. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Webster Animal Shelter, 525 Post Oak Rd. Madison, MS 39110.
