David Wayne Middleton was born on August 3, 1963, the second son to Robert Meriwether Middleton, Jr and Lourae Fountain Middleton in Grand Forks, North Dakota. He attended the University of South Alabama completing his bachelor’s degree in education. David was a teacher in the public school system for over 30 years having worked in Fairfax County, VA, Pike County, MS, and Jackson, MS. His education specialties included early history, earth science, and special education. His passions outside the classroom included fishing, Medieval Reenactment, and joyfully playing Santa Clause. David is survived by brother Robert Meriwether Middleton, III and his wife Debra Lynn Middleton, brother Stephen Ray Middleton and his wife Elsa Ng Middleton, sister Janell Middleton Maeger and her husband Christopher Allen Maeger, sister Rita-Anne Middleton and her fiance Charley Morgan, nieces Lauren Middleton Buitron and her husband Andres Buitron, and Morgan Ashley Middleton and nephews Justin Gabriel Maeger, Robert Middleton, Stephen Ray Middleton, Arthur Middleton and great-niece Meriwether Lynn Buitron. Memorial Service will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Saturday, October 23, 10:30am, 243 Hoy Rd, Madison. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Boys and Girls Club of Mississippi. Online condolences can be given at www.natcheztracefuneralhome.com
