Dolores Feeler Ferns, 92, went to her eternal home Tuesday, March 19, 2024. She has been a long-time resident of Jackson Mississippi. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Dolores loved to serve her family and others around her. She was born December 3, 1931 in Rolla Missouri. She married Kipp Ferns October 19,1952 and was a wonderful homemaker. She loved serving in the local church throughout her life. She enjoyed cooking, painting and crocheting. Her heart’s desire was for other people to know that God loves them. In her later life she would make simple small gifts to give her friends and family so they would know she loved them. One of her favorite Bible verses was Psalm 91. Dolores loved music and one of her favorite hymns was “What a friend we have in Jesus”. As loving mother and grandmother she was survived by her two daughters Donna Pickel of Ridgeland and Becky Thomas and husband, Bill of Madison; In addition, Dolores leaves four wonderful grandchildren, Anna Pickel; Micah and wife Reagan Thomas, Sarah and husband Caleb Foxworth, and Joshua Thomas; three great grandchildren Josie and Russell Thomas and Wells Foxworth. She was also survived by her beloved Brother Clifford Feeler of Denton Texas. Visitation will be Saturday, March 23, 2024 at Natchez Trace Funeral Home from 9:30am to 10:30am. A graveside service will follow at 11:00am at Jessamine Cemetery in Ridgeland, Ms.
