Cynthia “Cindy” Renee Aldy 58, of Ridgeland Mississippi, passed away on October 13, 2023, at her residence. Cindy was born to Gerald Turney and Harriet Thomas on October 20, 1964. She worked at First Baptist Daycare in Ridgeland for almost 30 years. Cindy was a nature and animal lover, traveling the country to see national parks, shorelines, bears and sea turtle hatchlings. Her artistic talents can be seen throughout her home in beautiful stained glass pieces, completely self taught. She loved children and was the best Nana anyone could ask for. Her mischievous spirit and hilarious practical jokes will be missed dearly. She had so much love to give and lived each day with incredible compassion for everyone around her. Cindy is survived by her husband of 22 years, Kurt Aldy; her son Cody, his wife Jessica, and their son Lincoln; her son AJ and his wife Sumega; her mother Harriet; her sister Lisa, her husband Terry; her niece April, her husband Matt, and their daughters Carrington and Willow. A memorial service will be held at Natchez Trace Funeral Home at 10am on October 17, 2023. All who knew her are welcome to come.
