Glenda Joyce Harper Miller was born on February 14, 1949 to the late Glen Harper and Mabel Clara Harper Young. She peacefully and quietly departed this life at St. Dominic Hospital, Friday, April 9, 2021. Glenda had a bright personality and full of life.  She was highly skilled to do so many things. Her passion was cooking. She could cook almost anything well and with out a recipe. Some of her other hobbies were sewing, gardening, and playing cards. Most of all she loved her family. She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts. Glenda was preceded in death by her father Glen Harper Sr., her brother Carl “Ismil” Harper, her grandparents, and several other family members that she loved dearly. Glenda leaves to cherish her memories: her mother:  Mabel Harper-Young, children:  Artez D. Shelton, Exit D. McQuarter (Shawanda) and Hubrina Miller-Hayes (Lee), grandchildren: Brittany D. Leflore, Arte’ Shelton, Brianna McQuarter, Briniya McQuarter, Zachary  Hayes, and Zoey  Hayes, sister: Constance Tate, brothers: Charles Harper and Glen Harper Jr., uncle: Edward Banyard and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and close friends.
