About Us

Natchez Trace Memorial Park was established in 1957 and was then named Mississippi Memory Gardens. The cemetery was purchased by the Chedotal family in 1973 and the name was changed to Natchez Trace Memorial Park which references the historic Natchez Trace Parkway that passes through our area.

In 2002, Natchez Trace Funeral Home was established to offer families the convenience of having funeral ceremonies and burial in one location. Although a relatively new facility, our staff offers more than 60 years of combined experience and is committed to serving your family with dignity, respect, and professionalism. We are proud to be the only family owned and operated funeral home and cemetery located within the same property in Madison County. We consider our service area to be within a 50-mile radius of our facility and currently serve families from Madison, Hinds, and Rankin Counties. Natchez Trace Funeral Home is a full-service funeral establishment and will service any cemetery within the state of Mississippi. We realize that each family is unique and each need is important. To better serve you, we offer a wide range of services to choose from, each having the ability to create a meaningful service.
