Obituary of Lois T Purvis

Lois Turner Purvis, 92, of Brandon, passed away on February 12, 2018 at her home.

She was born on September 20, 1925 to Charles and Irene Ates Turner in Ocala, FL. She was part owner and retired from Mississippi Hermedic Company, Inc and was a member of Briarwood United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Purvis is survived by her daughters, Betty P. Dawley, Helen P. Broadwater; son, Larry James Purvis (Jacquetta); sister, Vera E. Wiltshire; four grandchildren, Kenneth, Tonia, Clayton and Michele; three great grandchildren, Alexandria, Lola and Caleb.

Her parents, husband, Aubrey Purvis, sister, Lola B. McGee, brothers, Hiram E. Turner, Nelson Turner, Edward Turner and Roscoe Turner preceded in her death.

The family would like to thank Alysse Milton, Lois' caregiver, for helping her during these past few weeks.

Visitation will be held Thursday, February 15, 2018, 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm at Natchez Trace Funeral Home in Madison and again one hour prior to the 2:00pm chapel service on Friday, February 16, 2018. Burial will follow in Lakewood Memorial Park.
