Kimberly Ann Slaughter Henry, 50, passed away peacefully on May 19, 2024 surrounded by her beloved family members. Kim was born on May 24,1973 in Memphis, Tennessee to Jimmie Kent Slaughter and Louise Johnson. She grew up in Senatobia, Mississippi and later moved to Brandon where she graduated high school in 1991. Kim lived a life full of love and happiness; she enjoyed bringing laughter to those around her and spending time with her dear family and friends. She could always be found sharing a cold Coca-Cola with her children and grandchildren, as they were the light of her life. She dedicated much of her time to supporting her children through academic endeavors, softball games, and countless other activities. Kim was preceded in death by her stepmother, Sheila Slaughter; stepbrother, Christopher Uzzle; paternal grandparents, Troy and Doris Slaughter; maternal grandparents, William and Elizabeth Hunter. She leaves behind to carry on her love and strength three daughters, Haley Grace Henry, Hannah Lauren Henry, Addyson Hope Bray; two grandchildren, Hartlee Gordon, Kason Woods; parents, Kent Slaughter, Louise Johnson (Wayne); brother, Alex Slaughter; stepbrother Greg Uzzle (Amber); stepsister, Amanda Smith (Brandon), as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 22, 2024 from 10:00AM - 11:00AM at Natchez Trace Funeral Home in Madison, MS followed with a Celebration of Life service at 11:00AM. Interment will follow at Natchez Trace Memorial Park Cemetery in Madison, MS. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Blair E. Batson Children's Hospital located at 2500 North State Street, Jackson, MS 39216. www.umc.edu
