We met Ron and Pam many many years ago through Carl and Margaret. His parents were my dad (James (JT) Johnson's best friends and through that friendship another friendship was formed with Ron and Pam. And since all of these guys Ron, Carl, JT and my husband (Ben) worked together at some point at the Post Office , this friendship lasted many years. Cancer is a mean disease, but now you are healed and pain free.

There are so many. Haven’t shaken it all week. We were going to see him, but didn’t, I regret that. I used to go to their house off Mc D Rd & I learned sign language, I remember when B was born. There were many nights of fun, and yes, women really can have guys that are just friends. I remember when he came out of Sack N Save & his wheels & tires were gone! He was an outstanding young man that grew into a fine man that deeply loved his family. I cannot image their loss. I love you all!

I used to see Ron occasionally at family gatherings. He was always so genuine and down to earth He loved his wife dearly. Always smiling and talkative. He was so very proud of Brandii and his grandson. In later years, even though I was no longer married into the family, Ron always welcomed and greeted me warmly. He was a special person. I have sweet memories of him.

I meet Ron through his vending business, we became friends instantly, he had such a great welcoming personality. Over the last 15 years Ron and I have grown closer , he was more like a big brother to me. Ron was always concerned of how I and my family was doing , even in his last few weeks he would call and ask if I was ok, not complaining about his own health. We spent lots of time together doing little side gigs such as buying and selling vehicles or vending equipment he didn’t need and many meals and just good ole conversation. We both loved the Smoky Mountains and would entertain the idea of moving there one day. Ron had such a big heart , especially for his wife Pam and daughter Brandi and grandson Lane and thought highly of Tylor . Ron will be missed tremendously, Ron until we get to sit together again in Heaven and admire the beauty love ya bro
Prayers and love to all the family

Mr. Ricks was a man of strength, love, hope, faith, and honor. He could move mountains and was steadfast. Mr. Ricks always made people laugh, yet held a firm hand to right and wrong. He believed in working hard and always set out for a higher goal than the one before. In every conversation he and I ever had, he always reminded me that nothing was more important to him than his daughter (Brandi), and his wife (Mrs. Ricks). He always wanted to make sure that they would be safe and looked over at all times. Mr. Ricks love them unconditionally! This wonderful man was my second father, and always looked out for me throughout my years growing up with Brandi. He selflessly helped others without question and loved with all that he had. Mr. Ricks constantly reminded me that mountains can be moved, but the most important ingredients to that was faith, hope, and love. A while back Mr. Ricks said that if you wanted to accomplish a dream, you had to have faith in yourself and that alone would move mountains. I will always be grateful for his kindness, selflessness, strength, encouragement, laughter, faith, hope, and love that he shared with us all!
I am sorry for the loss of this wonderful man! Our family sends you our condolences and prayers Brandi, Mrs. Ricks, Mrs. Paula, and Family.
We love you all!
Jessica Ogle and Family
(Matthew 17:20-21)
"For truly I tell you, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you."
(1 Corinthians 13:4-13)
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
Love never fails.
But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. For we know in part and we prophesy in part, but when completeness comes, what is in part disappears. When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put the ways of childhood behind me. For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.
And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

Bill and Rita Ogle,
If, you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you,
If, you can trust yourself when all men doubt you
But make allowance for their doubting too,
If, you can wait and not be tired by waiting
Or being lied about, don't deal in lies
Or, being hated, don't give way to hating
And yet don't look too good, nor walk too wise
If,you can dream, and not make dreams your master
If, you can think, and not make thoughts your aim
If, you can meet with Triumph and Disaster
And treat those two impostors just the same
If, you can bear to hear the Truth you've spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fool's
Or, watch the things you gave your life to, Broken
And stoop and build them up with worn out tools
If, you can make one heap of all your winnings
And risk it on one turn of pitch and toss
And lose, and start again at your beginnings
And never breathe a word about your loss
If, you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone
And so hold on when there is nothing in you
Except the Will which says to them,, Hold On
If, you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue
Or walk, nor lose the common touch
If, neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you
If all count with you, but none to much
If, you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds' worth of distance run
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it.

Mr. Ron was the sweetest man! I will always remember him filling up our drink machine and asking me if I was good on Diet Cokes. He was a gentle, strong man and always had the biggest smile on his face. After his initial surgery, he was filling the machine and I went out to talk with him. Even then, the most precious smile came to his face and he gave me the biggest hug! What a special man.
