Thomas Kevin Traxler, age 62, of Brandon, passed away on August 9, 2024, at his home. Kevin was born October 16, 1961, and was one of three sons born to Thomas Victor Traxler and Winnie Aileen Smith Traxler. A native of Hinds County, Kevin graduated from Rebel Academy and Hinds Community College. He was the youngest person in Mississippi to receive his license as a Barber at the age of 15. He has been the owner of Hair Station in Pearl since the late 80's. He was a collector of sport memorabilia, especially Ole Miss. Kevin is survived by his loving spouse of 19 years, Lynn Traxler, sons, Thomas Traxler and David Stribling; daughter, Jennifer Weaver (Caleb); father, Thomas Victor Traxler; brother, Victor Dwight Traxler; grandchildren, Gabriel, Samuel, Joshua, Benjamin, and Jacob; and nieces, Cortney Sue Townsend and Victoria Ann Traxler. He was preceded in death by his mother and brother, Kendall Doyle Traxler. Visitation will be held Thursday, August 15, 2024, 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints 175 Burnham Rd Brandon with a funeral ceremony at 2:00pm. Interment will follow in Red Star Cemetery in Brookhaven at 4:30pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made via cash app at ThomasTraxler07
