Elizabeth G Dunn, from LaRose La. Was called home to be with the lord on April 17,2017 in Jackson, Ms. Memorial services will be announced for later this month.  Her children will notify family and friends of the memorial service to be held in LaRose,  La. 

 

Elizabeth "Betty" was born on September 21, 1937 to Albert and Louisiana Gros in LaRose Louisiana  where  she grew up.  Elizabeth had a wonderful joynfor life and family.  She at times had a hard exterior it was only a way to protect family and herself.   Elizabeth proud to be cajun and even more with cajun music.  Her father was a musician and they grew up with music in the home.  Elizabeth had brothers to follow suit in music forming a band the, "Chapperrelles".  She so much loved to hear her family play music and sing together.

    Elizabeth carried a special place in her heart for her time in England and Holland.  Her favorite flowers were yellow roses and yellow tulips. When she loved it was with all of her heart, her children, her family.  She was truly a dedicated hard working woman. Who would do anything she could for her family and friends. 

    In tragedy and loss her faith in God and Mother Mary was strong.  Heartaches she knew, but if she saw a butterfly land near her, she would just smile and say, "there is my Walter".  Her memory will be immortal in our hearts and souls forever.  Till we meet again. 

 

Elizabeth is preceeded in death by her late husband, Joseph Dunn.  Her parents Albert and Louisiana Gros. Her brothers Walter Gros, Roland Gros, Landry Gros and Al Gros.

 

She is survived by one some Harvey L Haley I I of Florence, Ms.  Two daughters Elizabeth "Liz" Haley of Omaha, Ar and Tina Louise Haley of Brookhaven, Ms. One sister Janice Gros Richoux of Marrero, La.  One granddaughter, Tawana Tullier Grogan and three great grandchildren Sierra Grogan, Hunter Grogan, and Chloe Grogan from Berryville Ar.
