Ronnie Ross Tisdale of Brandon, MS, age 68, passed away on October 12, 2024 after a hard fought battle with pancreatic cancer. Ronnie was born on January 7, 1956 to Ross Tisdale and Margaret Tisdale in Canton, MS. He is a native of Madison, MS and Ethel, MS. Ronnie worked in IT at Mississippi State University before transferring to the public sector. He retired from CSpire in 2021. Ronnie was a member of St. Marks United Methodist Church and loved motorcycles, the outdoors, and traveling with family. He also enjoyed an active lifestyle while also running/bicycling in marathons and fundraisers. He is preceded in his passing by his father, Ross Tisdale; sister and brother-in-law, Beth and Paul Bell; and father and mother-in-law, Johnie and Emma Jean Jones. Ronnie is survived by his wife of 46 years, Judy Tisdale of Brandon, MS; two daughters: Rachel Cole of Flowood, MS and Robin Tisdale of Brandon, MS; mother, Margaret Tisdale; brother, James (Debie) Tisdale of Cantonment, FL; two brother-in-laws, David (Billie Ruth) Jones of McCool, MS and Steve (Beth) Jones of Vicksburg, MS; sister-in-law, Ann (Ernest) Graham of Carriere, MS; and two grandchildren, Rivers Cole of Flowood, MS and Ross Cole of Flowood, MS. David White, Clay Perry, Ken Peacock, Lee Barnhill, Bart Bettiga, George Edwards, Ed Brunt (Honorary), and Tony Tharpe (Honorary) will be serving as pallbearers. Each of these men were chosen to represent many others who were all significant in Ron's life, including lifelong friends, fellow members of Men's Roundtable, St. Mark's Encouragers Sunday School, Wednesday Night Men's Group, and wonderful neighbors. Visitation will be Tuesday October 15, 2024 at St. Marks United Methodist Church in Brandon, MS from 9:00 am until 11:00 am. A funeral service celebrating his life will follow at 11:00 am. The interment will be held at Natchez Trace Memorial Park Cemetery in Madison, MS.
