On the morning of November 24, 2024, Kenny passed away peacefully after battling an aggressive form of cancer. Kenny was 65 years of age. Kenny Ward was born in Sylacauga, Alabama, on December 28th, 1958. Kenny was the third child out of five born to Margaret Ann Ward and Oscar Eudell Ward. Kenny attended Childresburg High School and graduated in 1977. After graduation, Kenny began his career of working in various paper mills in Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Louisiana, and International Paper in Mississippi. Kenny had a passion for music and could play various instruments. Kenny especially enjoyed playing the bass guitar. Kenny's passion for music led him to sing and play in the church with his family. Kenny enjoyed singing karaoke, solo, and with his friends. Kenny loved to fish, golf, shoot darts, play catch with his dog Stetson, and relax in the pool. Kenny was preceded in death by Margaret Ann Cox (mother) and Oscar Eudell Ward (father). Kenny is survived by his loving wife, Elaine Tucker Ward, along with his two daughters, Tamra Ward Sanford (David) and Shannon Elizabeth Webb (Caleb). Kenny is also survived by his Bonus Children, Sean Henry Gleason (Fallon) and Heather LeAnn Gleason (Shaun Dotson). Kenny has six surviving grandchildren, Blakely Ann Webb, Beckham Austin Webb, Shelbi Drew Gleason, Meryl Elise Gleason, River Tucker Dotson and Brooks Michael Dotson. Kenny also has four surviving siblings, Sarah Ann Ward, Patricia Jane Jennings, Phillp Terry Ward and Karen Joy Dempsey. Memorial services will be held at Natchez Trace Funeral Home, 759 US -51, Madison, MS 39110 on November 30, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. The family requests that in lieu of flower's donations may be sent to American Cancer Society in tribute to Kenneth Lynn Ward.
