Larry Bain passed to his heavenly home on December 21, 2024 at 82 years of age.

His family lived all over the southeast, starting in Johnson City, Tennessee, his hometown, Elizabethton, Tn, Morristown,Tn, Pensacola, Florida, Mobile, Alabama, Atlanta, Georgia, back to Mobile and then to Jackson where his family has lived for 42 years.
Larry was born in Johnson City, Tennessee, went to Tennessee Tech on a baseball scholarship & then graduated from East Tennessee State University in his hometown. Larry loved God, his family and was a great friend. He especially loved working in Scouting & all the wonderful friends he made. He enjoyed golf, his father taught him to play when he was very young and he continued to play until a few years ago. He was also a great tennis player in Atlanta and Mobile.
After he retired from Boy Scouts, he felt God calling him to be a Deacon in the Anglican Church and he especially enjoyed Pastoral Care. Several years after that, he felt led to become a priest and served at a small planted church in Madison. The church was under the covering of Dr. John Githiga, a bishop in Kenya. He was able to visit Kenya and the cathedral there and that was a wonderful experience.
Larry loved to travel and made several trips to England, Ireland and Scotland playing golf and sightseeing.
