Beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother Marielynn Bernadine Keller, age 94, passed away peacefully on January 4, 2025 at The Orchard in Ridgeland, MS. She was born on September 27, 1930, to Ferdinand A. Schulz and Irma (Skinner) Schulz in New Orleans, LA. She is survived by her son Lloyd Keller Jr., grandchildren Sandi Keller Herring (Calvin Paige), Lloyd Keller III (Teresa), Christopher Keller, and great grandchildren Joshua Herring, Erik Herring, Giselle Keller, and Logan Keller. She is also survived by her brother Thomas Schulz and many nieces and nephews. Marielynn, affectionally known as “Honey” by her close family, as named by her grandmother. She was a graduate of Cohn High School and was an avid sports enthusiast who loved the New Orleans Saints. She spent her career at the headquarters of Auto-lec Stores and Whirlpool Corp. in New Orleans. She threw legendary Christmas Eve parties and made every family event special. She enjoyed traveling, aerobics, and listening to the weekly music countdown. She was a faithful member of the Catholic Church. She dedicated her life to caring for and spending time with her family. She was described by her granddaughter as an angel on earth who exemplified her strong faith through her unwavering kindness and gentleness. She will be dearly missed. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 66 years Lloyd Lawrence Keller Sr., parents Ferdinand and Irma Schulz, brother Albert Schulz, and sister Gay (Schulz) Bradford. Graveside Committal service will be held at Metairie Cemetery, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd, New Orleans, LA, on Saturday January 11, 2025, at 1:30 pm. Natchez Trace Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. No flowers requested.
