Obituary of Carolyn Weeks Galloway

Carolyn Weeks Galloway, age 59, of Madison, Mississippi died Sunday, April 22, 2018 at Baptist Medical Center of Jackson, MS.  Carolyn was born September 21, 1958 in Jackson, Mississippi and is the daughter of John P.and Dot Watson Weeks.  She married James R. Galloway in 1986. 

She was employed by CompuGroup Medical as a Project Manager and was a member of Broadmoor Baptist Church where she sang in the choir and was very active with the Homeless Ministry at the church.

She is preceded in death by her father and husband.

She is survived by her daughter, Leslie N. Galloway of Madison; son, James Riley Galloway, Jr and his wife Erin of Missouri; grandson, James Allen Galloway; mother, Dot Watson Weeks of Jackson; brother, John P. Weeks, Jr. and his wife Nancy of Georgia; sisters, Lea Weeks-Matthews of Flowood and Dorothy Weeks of Jackson; mother-in-law, Ruby Taylor of Union; sisters-in-law, Michael Galloway and Mabel Jean Galloway and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.

Visitation will be Friday, April 27, 2018 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Broadmoor Baptist Church in Madison with a Celebration of Life Service to follow at 11:00 am in the church sanctuary. Dr. Rob Futral will officiate the service.  A graveside service with interment will be in Natchez Trace Memorial Park Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested in her name to Broadmoor Baptist Church Homeless Ministry or Blair E. Batson Children’s Hospital.
