To the family of Ret. LTC Brady W. Swinney
My family and I live in the Jackson community and were saddened by your family’s loss.
Once you lose a loved one in death, life is never the same. However, the Bible gives us hope that soon our old enemy,” death will be swallowed up forever”( Isaiah 25:8). God’s Word also gives assurance that soon God will bring our dead loved ones back to life. Isn’t that a comforting thought?
It is my family’s hope that the following scriptures will also bring you comfort.
Revelation 21:1-4
John 3:16
2 Corinthians 1:3,4
John 5:28,29
Acts 24:15
Luke 7:11-17
Luke 8:40-56
Sincerely,
Cedric Livingston

Our hearts are hurting as we try to grasp that Buster has moved on to his reward. Good for him, but oh so terribly sad for those of us who knew and loved him. You just could not be in Buster’s presence or even just think of him without smiling. Yes, he was funny, but the smile came primarily because he was just so overwhelmingly authentic and genuine. His “being” just sort of wrapped you up in his delightfulness!
We send Val and Brad and Katie and Ernest and Levi and Rylee Kathryn, Tanya, Ronnie, Ryan and Pam our love and deepest sympathy and promise our prayers for God’s loving care to comfort each of you as you go through this difficult time. Y’all, of course, are his closest family, but you can be certain there are many, many others of us out here who are feeling tremendous loss and heartache as we consider this world without Buster. Heaven is not hurting though. Heaven is smiling as Buster delights in seeing his Savior face to face. No doubt Jesus is smiling too.
Valarie, you are precious to us sweet cousin. We love you so much. Nancy and Mark

Hail State! One of a kind. A privilege to call him my friend, much more like a brother. He had a BUNCH of brothers.
I knew he always had my back. He always tried to keep me out of trouble, not really true but it sounds good in a tribute....He didn’t try to keep me out of trouble, he wanted to join in.

What can one say about Buster? I have only known him for 3 years as we moved here from Texas. We played golf together at Whisper Lake in our older group of men. Buster embraced life and fulfilled adventures only a few can dream of. He was the person Will Rogers described when he stated "I never met a man I didn't like". He also said, "Everything is funny, as long as it's happening to someone else". Buster always made you feel welcome and encouraged you. He was always helping others and even wanted to do more without calling attention to himself. As you grieve, please remember, Buster is everywhere and inspiring us all to love more deeply.
