Obituary of Jerry Crane Cochran

Jerry Crane Cochran, 90, of Scottsdale, AZ passed away peacefully in her daughter’s arms at the Caring for Loved Ones Group Memory Care Home on August 3, 2018. She was a caring and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and a passionate educator and an inspirational leader who devoted her life to serving others in need, especially the disabled and physically handicapped.

She was born on June 8, 1928 to Wilbur and Della Crane in Tishomingo County, MS. She earned her undergraduate and 2 Master’s Degrees and was a member of Epsilon Sigma Phi Fraternity, Gamma Sigma Delta and the National Honors Society.

Jerry is survived by her daughter, Robin Crane Cochran; sisters, Imogene Crane Tanner, Jackie Crane Gibbons and Jimmie Crane Cox; brother, Donald Crane and 2 grandchildren, William Paul Crane Kruger and Robert Wilson Kruger, great granddaughter, Bentley Kruger and many precious nieces and nephews. 

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Cochran is preceded in death by her husband Robert F. Cochran whom she loved with all of her heart, soul and strength.

Friends and family will be welcomed at the graveside service on Friday, August 24, 2018, 1:00 pm at the Corinth National Cemetery, Corinth, MS.
