Maidie Katherine Beeson Perez 78, of Jackson, MS was called home to be with the Lord on August 22, 2018 at her home. A memorial service honoring Maidie’s life will take place Saturday August 25, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. with a visitation starting 1:30P.M. at Natchez Trace Funeral Home in Madison, MS.

Maidie was born July 15, 1940 in Rochester, NY to Ella Mae Dunn Besson Hollis & Carl Crawford Beeson. At a young age Maidie and her family moved to Brookhaven, MS where she attended and graduated from Brookhaven High School. Maidie went on to University of Southern Miss where she attended for two years. Maidie had a long-life career as an administrative assistant for an Insurance company. Maidie was an avid reader who was a die-hard Saints fan “WHODAT” Maidie was. Maidie always had compassion for everyone. She always tried to find the good in everyone. Most of all Maidie was a loving wife and mother who do anything for her family.

She is preceded in passing by her parents, Mr. & Mrs. Besson. One sister Ann Crawford Beeson Pepper.

She is survived by her loving husband, Santos “Poncho” over 30 years of marriage of Jackson, MS., one daughter, Andrea Katherine (Kaye) Clark of Scotts, MI., one sister in law, Linda Perez Weaver, and many loving family friends.
