Obituary of Mary Beth Dodson

Mary Beth Dodson, 61, of Madison, passed away on August 29, 2018 at her home surrounded by her children.

A Funeral Mass will be held to celebrate Mrs. Dodson's life at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Canton, MS on Wednesday September 5, 2018 at 11am. Visitation will be one hour prior. Interment will be private.

She was born on October 8, 1956 to John Craft McAndrew and Betty Ann Boudreau in Mobile, AL. She earned a Bachelor's Degree in Special Education and taught for the Jackson Public School System, St. Joseph Catholic School and most recently for Madison County Public Schools. Teacher for Madison County Schools.

She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Canton.

Mary is survived by her daughter, Betty Ann McNamara; son, Joe McNamara; sister, Catherine McCreery; brother, Johnny McAndrew and his children, Earl and Patrick McAndrew.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Margie Jansen and niece Melissa Jansen.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name may be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church 238 East Center St. Canton, MS 39046.
