Obituary of Mary Trochessett

 Mary Dick Trochessett passed away early Friday, October 12, 2018, at her home in Madison, MS. She was 77 and grew up in Vicksburg.

A visitation honoring Mary will be held Sunday, October 14, 2018 from 1-3 PM, at St. Matthews United Methodist Church at 7427 Old Canton Road, Madison, MS 39110 with a Celebration of Life service immediately following at 3:00 PM.

 

Mary was married to Richard Trochessett for the past 20 years. She was active in her church at St. Matthews UMC and enjoyed her Sunday school classes and her church family.  Mary was an avid gardener, loved to shop, cook, and have family and friends over.

 

Mary is preceded in death by her parents, Emil Dick and Matilda Ganzerla Moyer.

 

She is survived by her loving and caring husband, Richard Trochessett;  a son, Gary A. Jones (Kim), of Vicksburg;  daughter, Debbie Jones Thornton (Terry) of Flowood and  stepdaughter, Joy Trochessett Hodges (Brad) of Fredericksburg, VA.  She is also survived by a brother, Emil “Donnie” Dick (Linda), of Glen Allan; sisters, Emily Dick Lee, of Madison; Wanda Dick Eady (Ed), of Montgomery AL;  Jo Ann Dick McCarthy (Mack) of Biloxi; Beverly Dick Robinson (Mark), of Flora.  Grandchildren include, Cheri Jones Snow (Steven), Amber Lee Cooper, Dakota Moore (Heather), Chelsea Moore Berry (Parker), Zoe Hodges, Braden Hodges and Macey Hodges and 6 great grandchildren, Maddie Kay Snow, Eli Snow, Kyleigh Cooper, Tatum Berry, Josie Berry and Paislee Moore.

In lieu of flowers, Mary’s favorite charity was St. Jude’s.
