Obituary of Ruth Wylie

Ruth Norris Wylie, 66, of Madison MS was called home to be reunited with the Lord on November 8, 2016 within her home in Madison. A visitation honoring Mrs. Wylie will be held Thursday, November 15, 2018 from 5-7 p.m. at the Natchez Trace Funeral Home located in Madison, MS. A graveside service will be held Friday, November 16, 2018 at 2 p.m. at the Glenwood Cemetery located in Yazoo City, MS.

 Ruth Norris Wylie was born September 15, 1952 in Benton, MS to Mr. P.A. Norris & Edith Lynch Norris.Mrs. Wylie worked as a Certified Public Accountant at the State Auditor’s Office for 25 years, before retiring in order to run her own practice, auditing small governments throughout the state of Mississippi.

 Mrs. Wylie was preceded in passing by her loving husband of 45 years, Dwight Wylie, her elder brother George Norris, and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Norris.

 Mrs. Wylie is survived by two daughters: Carole Wylie Kane and husband Dr. James Gray Kane of Cleveland, MS; Sharon Rose Wylie of Cleveland, MS; and a nephew, Chase Norris and wife Ashley Norris of Daphne, AL.

 In lieu of flowers, the family wishes for donations to be made to the Delta Center for Culture and Learning, Methodist Children’s Homes of Mississippi, or another charity or nonprofit organization of your choosing.
