Cydney Catherine Simmons Wallace, 42, of Ridgeland, passed away at UMMC on Tuesday, November 20, 2018. She was cared for and loved deeply by her daughter Lily Wallace, mother Martha C. Simmons, sisters Michelle S. Hardy and Samantha S. Schultz, and many others. She will be missed tremendously. She was born February 2, 1976. Cydney was particularly close to her late grandmother, Ruth Carr, whom she now joins in heaven. The light of Cydney’s life remains her daughter, Lily. Cydney lived for Lily and loved spending time with her. The two were known for being very silly together and shared a passion and talent for cooking.

Cydney is also survived by her nephew and nieces, aunts, cousins, an uncle, and extended family and friends including Dr. and Mrs. Ransom Simmons.
