Mr. Skinner was not only a wonderful neighbor and friend, but also a great story teller. I always enjoyed the story of how he and Lynda met. Then he went into the military. “Bullets flying over his head”, while Lynda sent him a “Dear John” letter. Later finding out there were “no bullets”, he played baseball!!! Always had a smile on his face. And I loved how he would sit outside cleaning those golf clubs. He loved those clubs so much he had to have a heated/cooling room just to put them in.
Gone from our sight, but never from our hearts.
