Howard Glen Hite, 76, died Wednesday January 30, 2019 at The Orchard in Ridgeland, MS. Mr. Hite was a businessman who resided in Greenwood, MS before eventually retiring in Tupelo, MS. After retirement, Howard & his wife Judy relocated to Jackson, MS to be closer to their children and grandchildren.

Howard was an avid music lover. He was known for his quick wit, infectious smile, and his kind and compassionate spirit. He was a member of Christ United Methodist Church in Jackson, MS.

Howard is survived by his wife of 50 years, Julia Felts Hite. He is also survived by his son Howard Glen Hite Jr. (Randolph) of Spanish Fort, AL, and his daughter Helen Hite Stacy (Matt) of Madison, MS; four grandchildren: Julia Carter Stacy, Caroline Reed Stacy, Elizabeth Tatum Hite, & Anderson Madden Hite and his brother Kenneth Wayne Hite (Kathy) of Bartlett, TN.

He was preceded in death by his Father James Madden Hite and his mother Peggy Ruth Hite.

Funeral Services will be held at Natchez Trace Funeral Home on Saturday February 2, 2019. Visitation will begin at 12:30 to be immediately followed by the funeral service at 1:30. Entombment will be private at the Natchez Trace Mausoleum.
