I would like to offer my condolences to the family and friends of Anne Marie Hewitt. Revelation 21:4 "He will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." This is one of God's promises for the earth.

Anne's friendship helped me to survive my first year of teaching in California. We shared many fun times rooming together with two other teachers and discovering all the sights to see here as well as Las Vegas and a bullfight in Mexico.
After she moved away we kept in touch by long phone conversations and times when we would return to Mississippi to visit family.
Anne was devoted to educating and helping children. I always admired her for all the extra time she spent with the foreign exchange program and the DAR program which worked with high schools to teach the constitution and American history.
Anne was proud of her family and we were always interested to hear of her children and grandchildren's accomplishments. Please keep in touch!

Anne was a wonderful and generous person. She invited me to her home when I was 16 years old. I was her first exchange student, an experience that I will never forget. She introduced me to the American way of life and impacted my life in many ways.
I am forever grateful that our paths crossed. I will always remember my year in Mississippi at the Hewitt’s home. Rest In Peace Anne and much love to my second American family. Bob, Candy, & Beth I am so sorry about this and hope to see all of you soon.
