I had the honor of meeting Chuck in person three times, but I spoke to him nearly every day for work. He always brought a smile to my face and had an ear for when I needed to vent. With his passing, the world lost a great man!
My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends through this great tragedy and beyond. May God bless you with peace, understanding and acceptance in the times to come.

The world lost a good man. I was one of the lucky people that got to know this man. I met him in the late 90's. He went out of his way to help me and my family through the many years I knew him. I was lucky to call him a friend. He accepted me for who I was and accepted my friends for who they were, never expecting anything from us, but always bending over backwards to help us at every turn. This man never thought of himself, but only of others. He was a family man and always stayed true to heart. Honesty and Integrity was never a question with this man. He had it when the sperm hit the egg. I have meet countless people in this world, and can honestly say that he ranks up there as one of the best. I am truly going to miss him. I hate the world couldn't get a chance to meet this man. He was a true friend to me, my family and my friends. I truly appreciate his friendship that he gave me. Thank you for always being there. Thanks for also participating in the practical joke on Barry Hale back in day. We still talk about it to this day and get a good laugh from it. Always the friend brother. Make a deal with St. Peter at the gates for me when you enter. You always looked out for me.

Chuck, you will be missed. I remember you all of those years at Central Hinds. We are so full of life as youth and think we will be here forever. You will be missed and it was good to re-connect at a class reunion in 2005. God Speed!

I called on Chuck for years at the pawn shop. He was always one of my favorite calls. You always knew where you stood with Chuck. I was proud to not only call him a customer, but a friend. I will miss our conversations on the phone. My condolences to his family. He was a great man and one that will never be forgotten.
