Kathy is (I am saying is because she still is only in heaven instead of here) one of the nicest, most empathetic, loving and accepting people I have ever met. Every time I found myself in the same room with Kathy there was always a light just shining out of her. A true lady. Our condolences, thoughts and prayers are with you all.

One of my favorite trips with my dear friend Kathy was this weekend shopping trip to Memphis. As you can tell by this photo, we had a wonderful time shopping and laughing together as we did so many times. I will cherish all the great memories we made together in our thirty years of friendship. You inspired me and were always there for me through thick and thin. Godspeed my dear friend. I will always love you and miss you dearly and one day I will see you again.

Walter, I never got to meet Kathy, but I know about her through you! There is no better tribute! She must have been some kind of lady to bring that much live and outright joy she pulled out if you. The many pictures if you and y'all family reflect just how strong y'all's family is. That strength will pull you through this time of necessary grieving, but I try and always take some of the sting of a loved one's pass by reminding everything that this is just a passage of life to get to a much better place. Take the needed time to grieve, but also time celebrate her life made so much better by having her most loved ones by her when she moved on. Take care my Brother and love to your family.

My heart is so heavy but I will always cherish & hold close to my heart memories of Kathy. Spent alot of time together as our children grew up together & attended MRA from K4-12th grade. I am so blessed to have called her my friend. Such a sweet family & she will be deeply missed.
